Why the Philippines?
We chose the Philippine's as our primary target for recruitment for a variety of reasons. To start, the Philippines has a large influx of new medical laboratory scientist graduates every year. Also, their education system for medical laboratory programs closely mirror that of the U.S. When lab students begin working, the lab instruments and environment they are in are very similar to that of the U.S.
The majority of medical laboratory scientist also gain their ASCPi certification very early in their career.
Why do Filipino's want to come to the U.S?
Opportunity. The average medical laboratory scientist wage is $500/month in the Phillippine's. Coming to the U.S to work is a dream for most, however it can also be complicated from their end as well in terms of finding sponsorship opportunities. We aim to make the process seamless and organized for the medical laboratory scientist that we work with.
